Good afternoon!!!  It has been a whirlwind of a couple weeks, between crazy work deadlines and having some crappy stomach bug for 2 weeks, YES I SAID TWO WEEKS!!  I am back and trying to frantically catch up with the crafting goals I set for July.

So let's get down to it, shall we?  My first card is made from a Tiddly Inks digital - "Bathing Beauty"...isn't she just adorable? I thought what summer treats would I enjoy the most on a hot sunny day, the answer was immediate!  A nice cool tropical libation of some sort served in a coconut!

She is colored with Copics, I used Spellbinders' Lacey Circle die and LaLaLand's Wave die.  The papers are from Echo Park "Splash" paper pack.  The coconut embellishement is Recollections, some shells and Icicle stickles to give a sparkling sun effect.

My second card and it is also a Tiddly Inks digital stamp - Charles' Tulips.  He's just soooo COOL!

I colored Charles with copics and used Liquid Glass on his trench to make it shiney, as well as the tulips.  First I embossed the white cardstock with Cuttlebug "Script Texture" and then used Spellbinders' Creatopia Heart die; the paper is a scrap of houndstooth I had in the scrap paper pile!  SCORE!  Finished it off with some red gross grain ribbon, sentiment; stickles and silver heart brads.

Boyo boy, does time fly or what lately????  It feels like this new year just started and we are already well into summer.....before we know it, it will be fall.  I don't get out to the malls very much, but yesterday I noticed all the stores are already "dressing" for the fall fashions....PLEASE JUST DONT PUT OUT HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS YET!!!!!!!!  I just don't think I could take being that far behind. 

I have had a crazy two weeks and it doesnt look like it is going to ease up until next week sometime.  I am hoping to make some posts on Sunday - with pictures of the latest "treasures" I have created, along with my Tiddly Inks Design Team posts - wish me luck!

I have been working on a darling baby shower "chocolate" centerpiece and can't wait to post the pictures to share!

Well it's a short post today, still in holding pattern with blog design....I have a feeling that everything is going to pull together at one time...which will be just fab with me!

It's another overcast, muggy day here in Southern California, the kind of day that just screams "LET'S CREATE!!"  I am working on my card for the Tiddly Inks Fairy &  Mermaid challenge...this will be my FIRST card challenge, and I must admit, Im a little nervous.  What if no one likes my cards???? 
Yes these are the crazy thoughts that go through my ever busy brain...I know you know what I mean.
On another note, I am working right now with VK Designs on my blog design, and I just can't wait to see what she creates, so that you all will have a better sense of who I am and what makes me tick.  Because we all know that this is a very friendly and loving group of creative ones to be sharing with, and I really want you to feel my energy the minute you open my blog!  Hopefully my posts wont put you to sleep. LOL.  Suzanne Dean has been a great inspiration to me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE her.  I am getting to know more of you as I follow the blog hops...soooooo amny creative souls out there, it is amazing!!!  Well back to work...

I am so excited to begin this journey into cyberland.  Being that I grew up in the sixties/seventies, I find myself trying too hard to hold on to old ways....all this social media is a little overwhelming to me, Im a face to face kind of girl.  But here I go....jumping in with both feet, thrilled to meet and make new friends who share the same love of creativity!
